What kind of media institution might distribute you media product and why?

What is a Production Company?

A production company is a company responsible for physical production of new media. The company may also be responsible for the funding or raising money for the production. The company may be either a small company or a larger one, selling its product to a film studio in the case of film and television, it may be the studio itself. It is common for actors to form their own production companies so that they can have more control over their own careers. 

Our production company

Our Production Company name is Engrosser INC. by having our own company we are able to make our own choices. Because we are a small company there is a possibility that we wont be able to fund the filming ourselves, but such as raising the money. 

What is a Distribution Company

A film distributor is a company or an individual that is responsible for releasing films to the public. A distributor may do this directly if the distributor owns the theatres or distribution network.

 this is an example of a film distributor they are called Arrow Films . as you can see in the picture, they have a advertisement for 'the killing' this website would be perfect for us to have our film advertised on, as it already has a lot of similar film genres to ours.

this is an example of a production company. On this website they have made the are looking for people to take them on to help in making films and such. this company is called crewscontrol.
